The need to promote food security and strengthen the agricultural sector has been brought to the front burner.
This was discussed during an Agricultural summit held in Benin city by the office of the first lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Tinubu under the renewed hope agenda.
The initiative which include introducing the youths and farmers into modern farming techniques among others, will also help boost food sufficiency in the state according to the first lady of Edo state Mrs Anani Okpebholo.
Also speaking, the Edo state commissioner for agriculture stressed on empowering women and youths among others.
