The Edo state government committee on the recovery of properties belonging to the state government has recovered over thirty vehicles from the past administration of Godwin Obaseki. This was disclosed in a statement by the Chief press secretary to the governor Fred Itua.

According to him, the committee chairman under Mr. Kelly Okungbowa through the help of whistle blowers recovered four of the thirty vehicles from the former secretary to the Edo state government and deputy Governorship candidate of the PDP in the just concluded Governorship election Dr. Osarodion Ogie.

Other cars were said to have been recovered from officials of the past administration in different parts of the state, as the committee expressed its preparedness to extend the search to others states in the country.

The committee according to the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, also expressed hope that before the expiration of the two weeks deadline given to them by the governor, more vehicles would have been recovered.
