Following the re-opening of Shasha market, business activities have resumed at the market though at a lower ebb.

Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde after a meeting with some leaders of the market announced the reopening of Shasha market and the closure of Iroko Market.

Our correspondent, who visited the market, sighted a few traders and customers who came to purchase food items while trailers were seen entering the markets with some farm produce.

Security agents were equally seen patrolling the market to ensure peace and order.

Two traders, Alhaji Ibraheem Hammed and Mr Muh’d Saheed Abdsalam, commended the efforts of Governor Makinde and other stakeholders for the reopening of the market.

Also, a customer, Mrs Titilayo Badmus expressed happiness on the development, noting that Sasa remained a major market to buy pepper and other ingredients.
