The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Nsukka zone, has decried the federal government's delay in the full implementation of the 2025 ASUU/Fed government agreement, stressing that the non implementation of the agreement is already telling hard on most universities across the Nigeria.
The Zonal Coordinator, ASUU Nsukka zone. Christian Opaleke, alongside his colleagues from eight other universities across neighbouring states, stated this in Makurdi, BENUE State.
The union leaders gathered at the Benue State University, Makurdi venue of the press briefing, singing solidarity songs.
The leaders appealed to Nigerians to join the union to persuade government to implement the agreement in order to avert unavoidable strikes.
