The operations also resulted in the recovery of arms, ammunition, and explosive materials, reinforcing security in affected communities.
The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Micheal Onoja, detailed the achievements at the monthly defence briefing, noting significant successes against terrorism, kidnapping, and criminal networks.
In the North-East, joint operations against Boko Haram and ISWAP intercepted trucks carrying terrorist equipment and 460 fertilizer components intended for improvised explosive devices.
Under Operation Fansan Yamma, troops rescued 21 victims, arrested 36 suspects, and secured 251 hostages during community stabilization missions.
Operation Whirl Stroke saw 49 arrests and 32 hostages freed, alongside the recovery of arms and ammunition disrupting criminal networks.
Meanwhile, Operation Delta Safe yielded multiple locally fabricated firearms, over 144,000 litres of stolen crude oil, 31,601 litres of AGO, and the destruction of 32 illegal refineries, with 59 suspects taken into custody.
Major General Onoja emphasized that the Armed Forces remain committed to neutralizing threats, restoring civil authority, and urged the public to stay vigilant and provide credible intelligence to security agencies.
