Prominent northern political actors organized a condolence visit to the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, over terrorists killings in Kaiama and the death of late Chief Imam. The delegation was led by the host governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The delegation that visited the Emir include: Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Yakub Salihu Danladi; Emir of Kaiama, Alhaji Muazu Sheu Omar; Senator Aliero Adamu of Kebbi State; Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State; Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State; Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin; Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State; Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State; former Governor Yayaha Bello of Kogi State; Senator Sadiq Umar; and Hon. Muktar Shagaya.
Bandits had invaded Woro and Nuku communities in Kaiama Local Government Area, Kwara State, killing 10 persons and set ablaze many houses.
