A 500 capacity computer-based test CBT centre has been unveiled at the Lagos State University LASU. The well-equipped centre is the result of a public-private partnership initiative aimed to deliver an ultra-modern CBT centre for students of the institution.

In attendance at the unveiling ceremony was the vice-chancellor of LASU Prof Lanre Fagbohun, representative of the state government and private partners of the projects. Stakeholders stressed the need for investment in ICT so as to build the capacity of Nigerians to compete globally. They added the centre will catalyze the attainment of a higher degree of computer literacy students of the institution

With the many challenges besetting full-scale CBT including week technological infrastructure and low level of ICT literacy of students, this ICT centre boasts of fully equipped computers, digital tools, powered with 24-hour power supply and internet facilities.
