Fifteen NYSC corps members of the 2019 Batch B Stream ‘1’ who served in Ekiti will have their compulsory one year service repeated, while 26 bagged various extensions.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ekiti state Coordinator, Emmanuella Okpongete made the disclosure on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti during the passing-out of 2019 Batch B Stream 1.
The state coordinator gave the breakdown at the Ekiti Parapo Pavillion, Ado-Ekiti, without the usual ceremony.
According to Okpongete, those who are to repeat the service year absconded from their primary place of assignments.
She said the punishment for their offence is to repeat their service year and refund whatever allowance(s) they might have collected.
