Actress Adunni Ade loses mother after prolong illness

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Adunni Ade has announced the death of her mother, who passed away on Sunday after a prolonged illness.
The actress disclosed the loss in an emotional post on her Instagram page on Monday, October 19, saying her mother died on October 18.
Adunni, who features in both Yoruba and English-language films, expressed her grief while accepting what she described as the will of Almighty Allah.
She said her mother was survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters and other loved ones who would continue to cherish her memory.
The actress also prayed for Allah’s forgiveness and mercy for her late mother, asking that she be granted Al-Jannah Firdaus.
She prayed for strength and patience for the family as they come to terms with the loss, adding that she would announce the funeral arrangements in due course.
Colleagues, fans and well-wishers have begun offering condolences to the actress following the announcement.
