One of Israel’s biggest political parties election has clashed same day as the popular American singer, actress Britney Spears' concert.

The Labour party has postponed its election date which is same day with popular American singer, Britney Spears' concert. The Party has scheduled to cast ballots for a new chairperson on July 3 in Tel Aviv ,the same day Spears is to perform at the city’s Hayarkon Park.

The election being a key election coming up had to be delayed till July 4th. To have a hitch-free voting atmosphere, the party leaders had to postpone election for icon’s concert.

According to the Israeli Party, the voters' safety is paramount but it seems the Party couldn’t compete with her popularity that day, so they decided to change the date.

Speaking on this, the Party's spokeman Liron Zach said: “ is to make it easier for people to reach polling stations, lest they get caught in the concert-goers’ traffic.

Zach added that they had difficulty recruiting security guards for their vote, since apparently most are busy staffing the concert.

On second thought of it, Spears most have a huge influence on the Israeli government for them to shift an election for a concert. Her VIP lounge tickets for her Tel Aviv show are going for the bargain-bin price of about $300.
