Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, taking home the reality show’s ₦160 million grand prize package.
The 21-year-old was crowned winner during the grand finale of the Show Ya Sef edition on Sunday, October 4, 2026, after 70 days of competition.
Temi defeated fellow finalists Aikou and Sheba, who finished as first and second runners-up respectively.
Her victory brings an end to the 11th season of the reality show, which began on July 26, 2026, with 24 housemates entering the Big Brother house to compete for the grand prize.
Temi, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, became one of the season’s most recognisable housemates, with her time in the house marked by several memorable moments, including the BB Bucks drama, a controversial kiss with fellow housemate Tram, a fake eviction and a series of house awards.
The Season 11 winner's ₦160 million prize package comprises cash and other prizes, including a vehicle and rewards from sponsors.
Temi’s victory also adds her name to the list of winners of the long-running Nigerian reality franchise, following previous champions including Mercy Eke, Laycon, WhiteMoney, Phyna, Ilebaye and Imisi, who won Season 10 in 2025.
How the final 10 were decided
The finale followed an unusual final stretch in which all 10 remaining housemates secured places in the final week.
The finalists were Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Keivo, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.
Their places in the finale were confirmed after Barry, who held the show's Ultimate Veto Power, selected the “Immunity for All” option.
The decision protected all the remaining housemates from eviction and effectively brought the eviction phase of the competition to an end, leaving viewers to determine the eventual winner.
The final week was not without controversy.
Keivo and Tram, both finalists, made headlines after they exchanged punches over a shirt in Biggie’s house. The disagreement reportedly began after Tram accused Keivo of wearing a shirt he claimed belonged to him.
Other housemates intervened before Big Brother stepped in to restore order.
After weeks of nominations, evictions, alliances, arguments, relationships and unexpected twists, the competition finally came down to the finalists.
In the end, Temi Nkem emerged as the Season 11 champion, bringing the Show Ya Sef edition to a close and becoming the latest winner of one of Nigeria’s most watched reality television franchises.
