God Is Good Mobility (GIGM) says it has expanded its operations with the inauguration of two technology-driven platforms aimed at integrating vehicle hire, air travel and tourism services.
The platforms, HireX and PASS by GIGM, were unveiled in Abuja on Wednesday as part of the company’s strategy to evolve into a broader mobility ecosystem that connects transportation and lifestyle services.
Speaking at the inauguration, GIGM Chief Executive Officer, Dr Enahoro Okhae, said the initiative reflected the company’s decision to adapt to changing customer expectations and emerging opportunities in the mobility sector.

Okhae said the company, traditionally known for interstate passenger transportation, was expanding its services to provide its customers with more convenient ways to travel, connect and access mobility solutions.
He said the new platforms would complement existing services, which already allowed customers to book road trips, select pick-up locations and access transportation services through the company’s application.
According to him, PASS by GIGM will enable customers to book air travel, arrange holidays and access tour services.
He said HireX would provide vehicles for individuals requiring transportation within cities for meetings, weddings, airport transfers and other engagements.
“Today, we are not just moving people from one state to another. We are creating an ecosystem where travel and lifestyle services can come together,” he said.
Okhae said the company’s expansion was driven by the need to respond to the changing mobility demands of Nigerians, who travel for business, education, tourism, family engagements and other opportunities.
The CEO said the company’s long-term vision was to build an African mobility brand capable of competing globally through innovation, technology and improved service delivery.
Mr Joseph Osanipi, Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), described the platforms as an innovation that could simplify the travel experience by bringing different mobility-related services together.
Osanipi said technology-driven solutions should address practical challenges faced by travellers, including transportation arrangements, accommodation, airport transfers and navigation in unfamiliar destinations.
He, however, identified trust, reliability and efficient service delivery as essential factors for the successful adoption of digital mobility platforms.
According to him, customers must be confident that their personal information and transactions are secure and that services promised through digital platforms will be delivered as expected.
He urged the company not to become complacent after the launch, stressing that meeting growing customer expectations would be the real test of the innovation.
Head of Product, GIGM, Mr Charles Oloyede, said technology remained central to the company’s operations and expansion into other segments of the mobility industry.
Oloyede said the company’s digital infrastructure helped it coordinate complex operations involving about 150 daily touchpoints, while improving service delivery and customer experience.
He said the technology foundation developed for road transportation had provided an opportunity to extend the company’s services to air travel and other mobility-related sectors.
Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Mr Olufunso Adebiyi, represented by the Deputy Director, Road and Mass Transit, Mr Usman Abubakar, commended the company’s investment in innovation.
Adebiyi said he had followed GIGM’s growth for about 20 years and expressed support for its efforts to introduce new transportation solutions.
He described the inauguration of HireX as a welcome development, adding that the ministry remained open to partnerships with private-sector operators to advance transportation services in the country.
He urged the company to sustain its innovation drive and ensure that the new services contributed meaningfully to the development of Nigeria’s transportation sector.
