A new digital marketplace, Tribargain, has commenced operations in Nigeria, offering users options to shop online, exchange goods through barter and participate in auctions on a single platform.

The platform is designed for individuals, entrepreneurs, small businesses and established merchants seeking different ways to buy, sell and trade products.

According to the company, its services combine three marketplace models: conventional e-commerce, trade by barter and auction-based transactions.

The e-commerce section allows vendors to list products for sale, while the barter feature enables users to exchange goods rather than purchase them outright. The auction service provides a bidding system through which buyers and sellers can negotiate transactions.

Tribargain said the platform was developed to make digital trading accessible and give users greater flexibility in how they exchange value.

Beyond facilitating online transactions, the company said it hopes to support Nigeria’s digital economy by expanding market access for businesses and encouraging the reuse and exchange of valuable items.

The platform is now available to vendors, auctioneers and buyers across Nigeria.
