Erling Haaland has established a six-goal lead at the top of the UEFA Nations League’s all-time scoring chart after taking his tally to 21 goals in 16 appearances.
The Norway and Manchester City striker reached the mark with a brace against Denmark at the start of the 2026/27 Nations League campaign.
Serbia’s Aleksandar Mitrović and Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo are joint second with 15 goals each, while Kosovo forward Vedat Muriqi has 14.
Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku is fifth with 13 goals, followed by Sweden’s Viktor Gyökeres on 11 and France forward Kylian Mbappé on 10.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Edin Džeko, Denmark’s Christian Eriksen and Luxembourg’s Danel Sinani have nine goals each.
The eight-goal group comprises Netherlands forward Memphis Depay, Georgia’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Georges Mikautadze, Montenegro’s Stefan Mugoša, Finland’s Teemu Pukki and Slovenia’s Benjamin Šeško.
The Nations League, which began in 2018, has produced several prolific scorers, with Ronaldo among the competition’s leading performers. He scored a hat-trick against Switzerland in the semi-final of the inaugural edition.
Haaland’s latest record comes after he became Norway’s all-time leading scorer in 2024. He scored twice against Slovenia that year to surpass Jørgen Juve’s record, which had stood since 1934.
The current Nations League scoring standings could change as the 2026/27 campaign progresses, with Matchday 2 beginning on Sunday.
Haaland is set to face Ronaldo when Norway host Portugal, while other players on the all-time scoring list will also be in action.
A total of 26 matches are scheduled between September 27 and 29, giving the leading scorers further opportunities to increase their tallies.
The ongoing Nations League fixtures are being played during a 16-day FIFA international break running from September 24 to October 6, allowing national teams to combine the competition with other international fixtures.
Matchday three of the 2026/27 Nations League is scheduled for September 30 to October 3, with most matches taking place from October 1 to 3.
