FC Midtjylland wing wizard Rilwan Hassan has committed his international future to Denmark ahead of his country of birth Nigeria.

Born in Lagos 26 years ago, Hassan took and passed a Danish citizenship test back in November 2016, and is now waiting to be issued a passport, which will pave the way for him to represent the Scandinavians.FC Midtjylland products and childhood pals Izunna Uzochukwu and Sylvester Igbonu had considered representing Denmark before Sunday Oliseh handed them their competitive debut against Tanzania in September 2015.

Rilwan Hassan is the most experienced player in the current FCM squad, with 215 matches under his belt for the first team.
