We're ready to meet Atiku PDP at Supreme Court - Oshiomhole
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole says President Muhammadu Buhari and his party, APC are ready to meet the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and its candidate at the February 23 Presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at the Supreme Court.
Briefing State House Correspondents when he led the APC women to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Comrade Oshiomhole accused the opposition PDP of blackmailing every institution in the country in its bid to take over power.
The APC Chairman also jokingly said that if the PDP and its Presidential decided to take their matter to the World Court, the ruling party and President Buhari would meet them there.
Oshiomole explained that the APC Women leader was at the Presidential Villa to see the President to congratulate him on his election and to share their own ideas with him as to what could be done differently that would impact on women in terms of appointments.
He said the women also used the opportunity to thank the President for consistently expressing his confidence on the Nigerian woman by assigning them to what we might call strategic ministries in his government both in the first term and in his second term.
The seven women ministers are: Sharon Ikeazor (Minister of State for Environment), Zainab Ahmed (Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning), Gbemisola Saraki (Minister of State for Transport), Ramatu Tijjani-Aliyu (Minister of State for FCT), Sadiya Farouk (Minister of Humanitarian Sevice, Disaster Management and Social Development), Mariam Katagun (Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment) and Pauline Tallen (Minister of Women Affairs).
