The suspended Commissioner for Works in Delta State, Reuben Izeze, has been released from the Warri Correctional Service, awaiting the next court hearing. He was regained freedom after he had written an apology to the Senior Special Assistant On Protocol to the Governor, Temple Mudi, who was attacked at the APC stakeholders meeting in Effurun.

The commissioner, in the few days spent at the Correctional center, encountered some inmates whose continued detention was their inability to pay the fines imposed by the courts. Izeze, accordingly, paid the fines of 15 inmates of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Warri, and they were immediately released from the Correctional facilities.

The inmates who had been sentenced to various terms of imprisonment with options of fines.
