The Police, in two separate operations, arrested 10 suspects over alleged violent crimes in Modakeke, including the invasion of the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
The police said that the Modakeke arrests was in response to a violent clash, while the Iree operation was in response to an invasion of the campus by suspected cultists, who allegedly shot two students.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Ibrahim Gotan, said the suspects are in custody at the State CID, Osogbo, and will be charged to court.
