Renown Afro singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, during a congratulatory visit to re-elected Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, unveiled his plans to support youth empowerment through entertainment, sports and recreation Initiatives.

David Adeleke, Chairman, lmole Campaign Youth Mobilisation Council, thanked residents of Osun State for their support of the incumbent governor and the emergent victory.
Davido remarked that the hope for free and fair election in the country would have been dampened if the outcome of the Saturday, August 15 Osun governorship election had gone the other way, describing governor Adeleke’s victory as well deserved.
Davido, also Chairman of Osun Sport Trust Fund, disclosed plans to hold a special concert in Osun State to discover, nurture and empower young talented residents in creativity and entertainment.
He noted that the gesture will keep larger percentage of youths in the state off illicit acts, and engender their engagement in positive activities.
Davido, however, admonished public officials to prioritize good governance to improve the welfare of the people.
