The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, has appointed Ali Makoda as his Chief of Staff.
Makoda, who holds a B.A. degree in Library/Political Science, Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Masters in Business Administration (MBA), all from Bayero University, Kano, was the immediate past Commissioner for Environment.
The appointment was announced in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Abba Anwar, on Thursday and made available to Galaxy TV news.
Ganduje lauded the positive contributions of the ex-commissioner towards the development of the state; adding that Makoda was an asset during his first tenure hence the need to carry him along in his second tenure in office.
Makoda is the second major appointment Ganduje has made after announcing Alhaji Usman Alhaji as Secretary to the state government since his second term inauguration on May 29th.
