The former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has resigned from the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Gwarzo addressed his resignation letter to the ADC Chairman in Gwarzo Ward, Gwarzo Local Government, Kano.

Resigning his membership of the ADC, the former deputy governor explained that he made the decision to quit the party after wide consultation with his political associates, supporters, and well-wishers across the state.

Gwarzo remarked that recent political developments and the evolving political landscape have made it necessary for him to review his membership of the ADC in the interest of the people, and for the future of the state and the nation.

He declared that his decision was informed by patriotic consideration and need to pursue a political path that aligns with his vision for good governance, democratic values, and sustainable development of the state.
