Nigerians seem so eager to see the FG begin the 5000 Naira per month payment for the unemployed in the country, and as such seem to be leaving no stone unturned as the many unemployed prepare to be beneficiaries.

A proof of this is in Gombe State northeast Nigeria where the number of those seeking to get registered for their National Identity card has more quadrupled in the past week owing to speculations that only those with National ID will be beneficiaries when such payments do commence nationwide

In recent days been the news of a 5000 naira stipend to the unemployed in the country every month, and the need for the National ID as the only authentic means of identifying those who will qualify to get the money as spread across the country.

And the rumour has indeed caught on, as the number of those who now come to get registered has reached staggering levels.

Many of the people iadmitted that the token of 5000 Naira was indeed a motivation to register for their National ID.

Without a doubt, there is a much heightened sense of expectation from the current government with the masses eagerly anticipating its implementation of the many campaign promises.

But the extent to which the people are taking things with respect to the proposed 5000 Naira social benefit money, is taking it to a whole new different level.
