The U.S ambassador to Nigeria, Stuart Symington says his country will work closely with Nigeria’s electoral body to ensure that the Anambra, Ekiti and the 2019 general elections is free, fair and credible.

Symington said this in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state when he paid a courtesy visit to governor, Ayodele Fayose at the Oke Ayoba lodge.

On the Anambra, Ekiti and 2019 elections, the U.S envoy said the U.S will support Nigeria to achieve a free, fair and credible poll.

Governor Fayose in his remark described the visit of the envoy as timely and urged the U.S to keep and eye on the 2018 elections in the state.

The governor also restated his administration to ensuring that Nigeria remains one indivisible entity.
