Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has retained three key members of his administration following his inauguration for a second four-year term.
The governor reappointed Habibat Adubiaro as Secretary to the State Government, Oyeniyi Adebayo as Chief of Staff and Olayinka Oyebode as Chief Press Secretary.
The appointments, announced on Friday night, took immediate effect, according to a statement issued by Oyebode.
The three officials served in the same positions during Oyebanji’s first term, signalling continuity in the governor’s immediate administrative and communications team.
The reappointments came hours after Oyebanji was sworn in for another term following his victory in the June 20 governorship election.
They also followed the dissolution of the State Executive Council on October 12 as part of the process of winding down the governor’s first tenure.
