As  the Independent  National   Electoral  Commission(INEC) commence the distribution of Permanent Voters  Card(PVC) nationwide, residents of Warri  South local government area of Delta state have called on INEC to be honest and guide against foul play in the distribution of PVC,S before the general elections.

Our Correspondent  went round the Warri metropolis  and spoke with some residents who expressed the challenges faced in the collection of their PVC.

Speaking on the need for INEC to get it right, the residents call for fair  play, as they are ready to cast their vote during the elections.

Speaking further, the residents  lamented the challenges faced in collecting their permanent voters card.

Meanwhile, at the INEC secretariat in Warri, residents turned out in large numbers to collect their cards, while some still went through the rigorous of finding their names to no avail.

Speaking on the exercise, the electoral officer  in Warri stated that his men are on the field, and that residents  should  go to their wards.

On the need for everyone to get their PVCs  before  the elections, he advice residents  who have no cards to go to the field officers.
