Former vice president and presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has vowed to work with any candidate who finally emerges as the party’s flag-bearer in the 2019 general elections.
The former vice president made the pledge during a courtesy visit to former caretaker chairman and one of the PDP presidential aspirants, Ahmed Makarfi in his residence in Kaduna.
Atiku Abubakar lamented the level of hunger, poverty and insecurity in the country, which he attributed to lack of good leadership and governance.
In his response, Ahmed Makarfi equally pledged to support any candidate that emerges as the party presidential standard bearer ahead of the 2019 general elections.
