The leadership and members of the African Peoples Party (APP), Anambra state chapter has elected Uche Ibekwe Jnr as candidate for the Idemili north state constituency by-election to be conducted along side the gubernatorial election in the state Saturday November 18.

It will be recalled that the member representing the consistency died few months ago thereby making the position vacant and the people left without representation.

It is against this background that INEC going by the constitution as a matter necessity fixed the election to be to be conducted with the guber poll simultaneously.

APP who is also in the guber race speaking through the State chairman said it will not be intimidated by the so called big political parties.

The party's state of assembly  candidate Mr Uche Ibekwe jnr also speaking shortly after his emergeance said he is determined to give his people  positive representation.
