APC Youths, Elders Rally Support For Lawmaker As Consensus Candidate In Edo

Youths of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State have taken to the streets to rally support for the Lawmaker representing Ikpoba-Okha Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Nicholas Asonsere, as a consensus candidate for another tenure.

This is coming after other aspirants, APC elders and stakeholders unanimously endorsed the Lawmaker for a second term.

The youths, who marched through various streets in Benin City in solidarity with the Lawmaker, who is the Chairman House Committee on oil and Gas, later gathered at the party Secretariat, alongside elders where he was endorsed.

The Lawmaker thanked the people for upholding the tradition, as one of the aspirants and party chairman spoke on the decision to adopt the Lawmaker.
