APC suffers more defeat, loses two seats in Adamawa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has continued to suffer defeat in Adamawa state as the state Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Yola, the state capital, has sacked Shuaibu Dan Musa Langa Langa for alleged certificate forgery.

Langa had his election as member representing Mubi North in the Adamawa State Assembly nullified because he forged a first school leaving certificate, according to the panel.

The tribunal led by Justice S Akambi subsequently ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to issue a certificate of return to Suleiman Vokna of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The tribunal has also nullified the election of Musa Umar  Bororo, member representing Mubi South constituency over bearing inconsistent three names.

The Tribunal nullified Bororo’s election who was elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the ground that he is using three names, Musa Umar Bororo instead of “Musa Umar” which is the official name in the documents submitted to INEC.

Bororo was dragged to the tribunal by Musa Yakubu Dirbishi of PDP.

The court has ordered INEC to issue a certificate of return to Dirbishi of PDP to represent the constituency after sacking Bororo.

All effort to hear from the  counsel proof abortive, as they were nowhere to be found
