Anambra residents lament delay in PVC registration
Eligible voters in Anambra state have expressed displeasure over the delay being experienced in process of PVC registration in the state.

This is attributed to the poor registration process occasioned by inadequate manpower on the part of INEC.

Following the extension of voters registration exercise by the INEC, more eligible voters are seen at various registrations centres.
A visit to one of the centres in Amawobia Awka South local government area of Anambra state, a mammoth crowd was seen around not been attended to.

Some of the eligible voters who spoke to Galaxy TV said that the process was slow because of the attitude of the workers who have turned the registration into a money-making exercise.

They, however, called on the government to intervene urgently.

Dr Nwachukwu Orji, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), told newsmen that the process has been ongoing for 16 months and that every eligible voter ought to have taken advantage of the time frame.

According to him, it would be a huge task attending to the crowd with the limited time frame.
