The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has inaugurated members of the Office of the Deputy Director General (DDG), Infrastructure, Mobilisation and Sensitisation, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), with a mandate to document and publicise federal infrastructure projects across the six geopolitical zones

The minister inaugurated the team in Abuja as part of efforts to strengthen infrastructure-related communication, mobilisation and public sensitisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The minister added that although the Federal Ministry of Works accounted for a significant proportion of the Federal Government’s infrastructure investments, the team’s responsibilities would extend to projects undertaken by other MDAs, providing a comprehensive picture of infrastructure development nationwide.

He charged the Senior Special Assistants to the President on Community Engagement for the six geopolitical zones, who have been appointed as zonal coordinators, along with other members and the directorate secretary, to work together to identify and document relevant projects within their respective zones.
