The Lagos state sector commander of the federal road safety corps, Farinloye Babatunde has assured road users in and around the state of round the clock monitoring of vehicular movements on the roads this festive season.
Sector commander Farinloye said the sector shall be deploying 2,343 special marshals to compliment activities of regular marshals that will be stationed at every strategic places across the state. He said the sector is critically programmed to respond quickly to any eventualities on the road this yuletide period.

Speaking further, sector commander Farinloye implored road users to observe all necessary cautions while driving on the road saying there's nothing diabolic or spiritual about ember months that causes road crashes if not recklessness and irrational agitations by motorists.
He declared that any road offender shall be adequately dealt with according to the laws of the land.
