Warri residents express mixed reactions over PVC registration

Residents of Warri South local government area of Delta state have expressed mixed reactions over the ongoing registration for the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in the Delta state area.

This is coming as a result of the allegation by some residents who claim officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) demands money before registration.

Meanwhile, the electoral officers who were seen doing the data capture for some residents declined to speak on the allegations, as a member of the security monitoring group denied the allegation.

As at the time of filing this report, over a hundred residents who have been visiting the INEC office since last week have not been attended to, while the Electoral Officer for Warri South, Enoch Ugbeta promised to increase the number of computers before the end of the week.
