Teachers urged to take registration seriously

Teachers urged to take registration seriously

Teachers across parts of Nigeria have been urged to take the issue of registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria seriously.


The National President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Micheal Alogba-Olukoya made this appeal while speaking to teachers in Ogun state.

The national president noted that the federal government through the federal ministry of Labour will not treat the matter with kid gloves, noting that whoever fails to register before the deadline would be relieve of his job as a teacher in Nigeria.

The NUT boss also appreciated the Ogun state governor for pardoning all suspended and sacked teachers.

He noted that the body will remain grateful to the government of the state for putting smiles on the faces of the affected teachers, their families as well as colleagues.
