The professor of Agriculture stated this in an interview with journalists at the sideline of a reception held in honour of Abdul-Azeez Olayiwola Balogun, a Professor Emeritus of Islamic studies at OOU.

The reception was hosted by the former deputy governor of the state, Senator Adegbenga Kaka.

Olatunde, a former Chairman of ASUU, Federal University Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) branch called on the Federal to dialogue with the union to avert the looming strike, saying students cannot afford to experience another break in the academic calendar.

On his part, the former deputy governor of Ogun state Senator Adegbenga Kaka described Balogun as a pious human being that is worthy of emulation by all and sundry.
