As the registration of voter ends in Osun state, residents in the state have called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to extend the period of the exercise in other to accommodate more people.

They made the call while speaking with newsmen at various registration centers in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

According to them, a lot of people have been coming to the registration centers since last week Wednesday when the exercise commenced but have not been able to register.

Osun state government had declared Monday 16th of April, 2018 a public holiday to allow eligible voters register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC).
