Police parade kidnap suspect in Ondo
Operative of the Ondo state police command have paraded a suspect identified simply as Usman Momodu  believed to be part of the kidnap syndicate that abducted a traditional ruler, Oba Joel Daodu in the Akoko area of the state.

The traditional ruler was kidnapped by the syndicate sometime last month.
The commissioner for Police in the state, Hilda Harrison, while addressing journalists during the parade of criminal suspects at the police state headquarters on Igbatoro road, Akure, said the kidnap suspect was caught with some of the money paid as ransom for the release of the monarch.
The Ondo commissioner also speaks on the recent development in Akure where a young woman accused of stealing was stripped naked.Hilda Harrison said the police will not condone such dastard act in the society and implored the public against jungle justice.

The kidnap suspect,Usman Momodu told journalists that he`s a cattle rearer and that he was pick up in the bush where he was attending to his cattles.
The police is currently on the trail of other members of the kidnap syndicate who are at large
