Peoples Democratic Party in Benue state has emphasised the need for members and stakeholders of the party to work assiduously and make their contribution towards ensuring they win the 2019 general election.
Governor Samuel Ortom, made this known at an enlarge stakeholders meeting of the party in Makurdi, the state capital, where chieftains and all aspirants contesting for various positions were in attendance.
The Governor who maintained that the preparation towards the forthcoming election will not be business as usual, enjoined all party members, aspirants, and stakeholders to give their full support and contributions towards the campaign to ensure the success of the party, now that the campaign has now been streamlined under one group.
The state chairman, John Ngbede, who earlier welcome members, aspirants and party stalwarts on the occassion of the meeting called on all appointees of government to avail them with names of the various polling units in their councils wards to enable the party work out modalities towards the campaign and election just as the former and immediate past governor, Gabriel Suswam, explained on the modalities.
