A member of the federal house of representatives, representing Akoko northeast/north-west federal constituency, Hon. Stephen Olemija has condemned the incessant attacks of farmers by herdsmen in the northern senatorial district of Ondo state.

The northern senatorial district of Ondo state that comprises of the Owos, Akokos and Ose people, had been under the siege of herdsmen attacks that have claimed several innocent lives in recent times.

Speaking with journalists in Akure the Ondo state capital, Hon. Olemija said the National Assembly is not pleased with the development across the country and will soon come out with the position that will proffer lasting solution to the menace.

He charged the good citizens of the country especially farmers that are suffering at the hands of the herdsmen to maintain peace and orderliness, promising that the respite will soon come their way.
