Makinde Charges Judges on Equity and Fairness

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has appealed to Judges and other magistrates in the state to use their positions to better the lots of the masses and for the development of the state.

Speaking after he swore in Hon. Justice Aderonke Aderemi as the new President of the Customary Court of Appeal in the state, he says his administration would continue to support the course of justice.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Makinde who was joined by the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu urged judges and other magistrates to see their positions as an opportunity to make the society better for all.

On her part, the New President of the customary court of Appeal, Hon. Justice Aderonke Aderemi promised to contribute her quota to the course of justice on the state.

Also, Governor Seyi Makinde has sworn in three new permanent secretaries in the state with a charge to them to contribute to the development of Oyo state.

Governor Makinde stated that his administration would continue to promote the welfare of workers in the state while assured that no worker would be denied of his or her entitlement.
