Following the sterling performances of youths who represented Imo state at the just concluded 2019 national youth games, the state governor Emeka Ihedioha has express total satisfaction in their performance thereby assuring them of a comprehensive scholarship.

The governor expressed total satisfaction with the level of commitment shown by stakeholders in the state as they all keyed in one way or the other in the paradigm shift.

The governor who met with team Imo, shortly after he was decorated with FIFA emblem charge handlers of the sports sector in the state to double up their effort as the state is more than ready to harness every economic value in sport.

The chairman Imo state sports commission Mr Fan Ndubuoke and Mr Chidi Ejiogu state chairman Imo state weight lifting association in their separate remark assured the governor of satisfactory performance and the state will in no distance time take it pride of place in sport.
