A historian, Dr Saka Balogun has kicked against the planned creation of Fulani settlement, popularly tagged Ruga, in all states of the federation stressing that it will to more tension in the society.

Speaking with correspondent Kunle Ojo in Ibadan, Dr Balogun accused the federal government of not being sensitive to the plight of the majority of Nigerians adding that the initiative will further set the farmers against the herders in Nigeria.

While calling on the federal government to reconsider its decision on the programme, Dr Balogun says political leaders must be ready to learn from history.
