A man identified as Uhuaku Paul of Ezigbougu community in Ezinihitte Mbaise local government area of Imo state has been arrested by the men of Nigeria security and civil defence corps Imo State command for allegedly raping his own mother.

According to commandant Raji who confirmed the incident to Galaxy news the perpetrator of the heinous crime had threatened his mother on several occasions with firearms to allow him have his way but she has always resisted him.

Commandant Raji said unfortunately, the victim could not escape the last attempt as the Son this time was heavily drunk in alcohol and was very violent threatening to kill her if she tries to resist him.

The suspect confessed to the crime and blame excessive alcohol intake for the unholy act.

NSCDC commandant said it took the effort of men of his command to rescue the Paul from the hands of youths of the community who on hearing the ugly incident descended on him in a jungle justice style.

He, however, advised that intake of alcohol to point going ahead to commit sinful and abominable act should be avoided.

Some, however, speculated that the act may not be unconnected to ritualism. Uhuaku Paul already charged, will be made to face the law and suffer the consequences of his actions.

The commandant said Unlawful possession of firearms and rape are the charges against him in the law court.
