Fire from an unknown source has gutted a section of access bank at Itim Street in Owerri the Imo state capital.

The unfortunate incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday living residents around in disarray for fear of further damage and spread of the fire.

Though many vital documents were consumed by the fire, the unfortunate situation was curtailed by the quick intervention of the state fire service personnel.
