CP Abaniwanda Surajudeen Olufemi has assumed duty as the 22nd police commissioner in Delta state.

The new CP takes over from AIG Wale Abass who has been transferred to force headquarters Abuja.

The new Delta CP has served in various capacities as the 2i/C Jos squadron command, DPO in Kubwa and Gwarinpa as well as the immediate past deputy force secretary at the force headquarters Abuja.
After taking over, CP Olufemi promised to build on the existing mechanism, as he advised members of the public to cooperate with him in making Delta safe for business.
