Benue police arrest 2 suspects who kidnapped 7 yr old
Two suspects involved in the kidnap of a seven years old boy, Ebuka Ezeugwo, in Naka, a community in Gwer west local government area of Benue State last December have been arrested and paraded by the state Police Commissioner.
The suspects, Terfa Mapple and Kwahiaka were arrested by men of Operation Zenda in their hideout after three of the gang members were killed in the process of rescuing the 7year old boy, Ebuka, who had spent 6 days in captivity.
The State Police commissioner, CP Garba Mukkadas, who briefed newsmen at the command headquarters on the rescue and arrest, said the two suspects paraded will be prosecuted according to law after investigation.
The police commissioner, while assuring of the safety and protection of the Benue people thanked the public for their cooperation while urging them avail the security agencies information to nip crime in the bud.
