Adamawa Govt set for livestock transformation plan
Adamawa State government has identified Five out of the Thirty One federal government gazetted grazing reserve for the take-off of the National livestock transformation plan in the state.
This came to fore when Governor Ahmadu Fintri had a sensitization meeting with the council of Emirs and chiefs on the National Livestock Transformation Plan held at the government house, Yola.
Representing the state governor, Chief Crowther Seth said as a government, they believe in the National Livestock Transformation Plan as a panacea to the much-needed peace and humanity
According to him, the vital and indispensable role that the traditional institution can play in the peace and security architecture of the State so that peace and unity can be restored to the people of Adamawa State
In their separate remarks, the Committee Chairman and that of the traditional rulers said the steps taken is to create a conducive environment for livestock and subsector that will lead to economic development and peace in Nigeria.
