Some Nigerians who spoke at the scene of the incident decried the attack on Nigerians stressing that the act should be condemned by all right-thinking people but urged the people, especially the youth to exercise some restraint stressing that Nigerians should refrain from actions that will further jeopardize the economy.

As at the time of this report, security has been beefed up in the area while regular vehicular movement has been restored but most shop owners in the area are yet to open for the daily activities.
