The crash occurred around 7 pm on Saturday at Cashier Bus Stop in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state.
An eyewitness, identified as Kunle, said the motorcycle was attempting to overtake the truck when the woman, who was a passenger, fell onto the road and was crushed by the truck.
The spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the incident on Sunday.
Akinbiyi said the vehicles involved were a white Howo truck with registration number T-34611LA and two motorcycles whose registration numbers were not displayed.
He said preliminary information indicated that the crash was caused by an alleged wrong overtaking manoeuvre by one of the motorcycle riders.
He said five people were involved in the crash, comprising three males and two females, while a male and a female sustained injuries.
The injured victims were taken to a hospital by a good Samaritan before TRACE operatives arrived at the scene.
Akinbiyi added that the deceased’s remains had been taken away by her family, while the truck was moved to police custody for further investigation.
He said TRACE operatives and PAPA OSCAR responders attended the scene and restored normal traffic flow along the expressway.
