The First Lady of Kwara State, Founder of Ajike People Support Centre and Chairperson, Nigeria Governors Spouses Forum Her Excellency Ambassador Professor Olufolake Abdulrazaq, has urged digital content creators to deploy their platforms towards promoting social responsibility, entrepreneurship, inclusion and sustainable development.

Ambassador Abdulrazaq made the call on Saturday, October 17, 2026, while delivering a keynote address at the maiden Kwara Creators Summit convened by Miss Sharon David Adeoye, which was held at the Ilorin Innovation Hub, Ilorin, where she emphasised the growing importance of the creative industry in economic development, youth empowerment and cultural promotion.

Amb Abdulrazaq noted that digital creators have become influential voices in shaping public opinion, building communities, promoting businesses and creating opportunities, stressing that their success should be measured not merely by audience size or online visibility but by the positive impact of their work on society.

She highlighted the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's investments in creating an enabling environment for young people and practitioners in the creative industry, and encouraged stakeholders to strengthen connections among talent, training, infrastructure, finance, and market opportunities to ensure the state's creative potential translates into economic growth and employment.

Ambassador Abdulrazaq, however, reaffirmed her commitment, through her office and the Ajike People Support Centre, to initiatives that promote digital inclusion, entrepreneurship, empowerment and economic participation for women and young people while commending the conveners of the summit for the initiative.

The maiden edition of Kwara Creators Summit featured the MD of the Innovation Hub Mr Temi Kolawole, goodwill messages, panel sessions and was supported by the Kwara State Government.
